Tile Flooring Installation

Precision layout. Leveled substrate. Clean grout. Expert tile work is about more than aesthetics —
it's about a surface that lasts and stays looking right.

Tile Types We Install

The right tile for every room

Porcelain

Dense, impervious, ideal for any room including high-moisture zones

Ceramic

Cost-effective and versatile — excellent for walls and low-moisture floors

Natural Stone

Marble, travertine, and slate — luxury with a lifespan that outlasts everything else

How It Works

The installation process

01

Estimate & Planning

We assess the subfloor, measure the space, and help with tile and pattern selection.

02

Demo & Subfloor Prep

Old flooring removed, substrate prepared — cement board or uncoupling membrane installed.

03

Layout & Setting

Tile is laid out dry first to check the pattern, then set in thinset with precise spacing.

04

Grouting

24-hour cure, then grout applied and finished. Final seal on stone and grout joints.

05

Walkthrough

We inspect every joint and edge together before calling the job complete.

Why Tile

The case for tile flooring

Unmatched longevity

Properly installed tile outlasts every other flooring material. Roman tile installations are still functional today.

Waterproof

Not water-resistant — fully waterproof when installed and sealed correctly.

Allergy-Friendly

Doesn't trap dust, pet dander, or allergens. The healthiest hard surface for allergy sufferers.

Zero Maintenance

Doesn't need refinishing, resealing annually, or replacing sections after moisture exposure.

Adds Home Value

Quality tile work — especially in bathrooms and kitchens — is a consistent return on investment.

FAQ

Tile Questions

01

How long does tile installation take?

Most rooms take 2–4 days — demo and subfloor prep, tile layout and setting, then a 24-hour thinset cure before grouting. Larger projects take longer.
02

What subfloor do you need for tile?

Tile requires a rigid, flat substrate — typically cement board or uncoupling membrane over plywood. A subfloor that flexes will crack grout and eventually crack tile. We assess this during the estimate.
03

What grout color should I choose?

Grout color dramatically changes the look. Matching grout to tile creates continuity; contrasting grout defines each tile. We advise based on your specific tile and room.
04

Can tile go over existing tile?

Sometimes. If the existing tile is well-bonded, flat, and doesn't push your door clearances past limits — yes. We assess whether it's the right call for your situation.
05

Do you do heated floors under tile?

Yes. In-floor electric heat systems can be installed beneath tile — particularly popular in bathrooms. We coordinate this as part of the tile installation.
